In Virginia, our Team Jeni's Team Leaders have the opportunity to earn an average of $24.33 per hour!* *This is an estimate of hourly earnings. It is based on the 2026 base pay rate, plus 2025's hourly tip average. 2026 actual customer tips may vary. In Virginia, if the average hourly earnings of a Team Leader are less than $17 per hour in a two‑week pay period, Jeni's will add the difference to the person’s paycheck so that their average hourly earnings reach $17 per hour for that pay period. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is searching for part‑time Team Leaders to join our Old Town Alexandria team. At Jeni’s, we’re devoted to making better ice creams and bringing people together. We view ice cream as a form of art. Team Jeni’s Team Leaders are part‑time crew members who lead shifts. In addition to leading shifts, they scoop and serve ice cream to our customers, make waffle products, run the register with cash management responsibilities, keep the shop clean, change out buckets of ice cream, and perform a number of other important, related tasks. Perform a number of other important, related tasks. Lead shifts and act as a role model for other team members. Provide consistent, world‑class service to every single customer. Maintain a fast‑paced environment, cleaning tasks, and stamina for long lines. Qualifications Exhibit passion for community, eye for detail, willingness to clean (a lot), stamina, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Capable of positively influencing and leading a shift of ambassadors, helping uphold the highest standards. Resourceful and calm when challenges arise. Great judgment, common sense, and strong interpersonal skills. Familiar with and able to articulate the distinguishing features of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams to customers. Reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift. Committed to the well‑being of the shop team, community, and the environment around them.
