Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual goals, cultural considerations, and therapeutic needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in various formats, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure the immediate safety and ongoing care of clients in acute distress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate clients and their families through psychoeducation sessions that empower them with strategies to manage mental health conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, making adjustments to therapy plans as required to achieve the best possible results for clients.
• Stay current with research and best practices in mental health, integrating new knowledge into your clinical work.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality, ensuring that all client information is handled with the utmost respect and care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and methodologies.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational workshops or groups.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, with actual compensation determined by geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
