The Opportunity We have several openings for Application Specialist Is to support real‑world industrial solutions, learn our products from the ground up, and work closely with sales and customers. If you are technically curious, detail‑oriented, and ready to grow, this role was built for you. What You Will Do Prepare quotes and RFQs for customers and outside sales. Match customers need standard product solutions (training provided) Communicate clearly with customers, sales, and internal teams. Track quotes, orders, and updates in our CRM. Support order entry, delivery timelines, and follow‑ups. Spot simple cross‑sell or up‑sell opportunities. Build hands‑on knowledge of instrumentation, valves, actuation, gas detection, and services. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.) Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering), Business Degree with ability to provide technical solutions or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: 0–2 years relevant experience; internships, co‑ops, or technical coursework acceptable. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM platforms desirable. Abilities: Able to follow documented procedures, learn vendor sizing tools, communicate professionally, and escalated appropriately. Acceptable Substitutes Associate degree plus 1–3 years hands‑on technical experience (field tech, commissioning tech, instrumentation technician). Technical certificate programs, bootcamps, or trade school with relevant coursework and demonstrable practical work. Physical Demands / Work Environment Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required in order lift documents and other items throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 10 pounds on occasion. Occasional visits to manufacturing or customer sites may require use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
