Level II Accounts Payable SpecialistA Level II accounts payable specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing invoices including calculating, posting, and verifying financial data. They perform accounts payable functions in an automated system. This role involves research and analysis.Responsibilities:Transfer Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices from Chrome River to PeopleSoftA/P systemReview invoices received from branches and departments in Chrome RiverTransfer Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices from Chrome River to PeopleSoft systemProcess A/P check runPost General Ledger (GL) entries to PeopleSoftGL systemAssist branches and departments with A/P inquiriesProvide assistance to corporate accounting department staff as neededBack up the duties of the Accounts Payable III position as neededAll employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Internal control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct.Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Diploma or GED (preferred)2 –4 years — Experience in accounts payable or equivalent (Required)Pay Range: $20.00 to $29.00.The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
