Experience in Full Cycle AP including but not limited to processing, verifing and entering invoices for accounts payable.Ensures accuracy, data integrity, thoroughness, and timeliness.(40%) Monitors accounts, maintains logs and records, and prepares reports for one or more companies. (40%) Communicates with both vendors and internal customers regarding account status and follow up on special requests. Knowledge with MS Queries analyzing vendor history, invoice status and payment status.(10%) Performs various clerical duties to provide general assistance as required.(10%) Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and experience equivalent to: Education/Certification High school diploma or equivalent and accounting courses resulting in basic knowledge of one or more accounting functions (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.) Experience At least 4 years of related work experience. Excel experience (pivots and formulas desired) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities One or more accounting functions (e.g., basic bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll processing, etc.) (J) Generally accepted accounting principles (J) MS Office Word / Excel software applications (J) Company computer systems (accounts payable, general ledger, etc.) (J) Use of basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, etc.) (J) Project/assignment management techniques and procedures (B) Relevant division concepts, procedures, and regulations (J) Skill and ability to Act in accordance with GSF’s Values and Creed Proven time management and prioritization skills Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy Identify problems or irregularities for early resolution Communicate and articulate effectively with internal and external customers Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00/ Hour WHY JOIN US Golden State Foods (GSF) is one of the largest diversified suppliers in the food industry, manufacturing a range of products including sauces, dressings, condiments, syrups, and toppings for leading restaurant and retail brands.
