CNC Technician

Troubleshoot CNC equipment and ensure preventative maintenance (PM) procedures are completed.

Support the documentation of PM completion records and procedures.

Repair CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centers.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.

Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.

Identify and replace parts as necessary.

Complete testing and adjust parts as needed.

Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

Work with a sense of urgency to minimize machine downtime.

In conjunction with the production team, support continuous improvement plans.

Perform general facilities maintenance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills:

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requires at least 4 years of experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls.

Requires at least 4 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.

Must be able to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.

Requires a high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, and repair skills.

Must have advanced knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.

Requires advanced knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and weekends, as needed.

Must be able to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
