Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Phoenix Rise Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couple therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of your clients.

• Facilitating family therapy sessions, addressing a range of issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts, and blended family dynamics.
\n
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that are aligned with the overall clinical goals of the practice.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention when necessary, and employing appropriate techniques to manage and alleviate immediate distress.

• Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate client records in compliance with agency policies and legal standards.
\n
• Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings to share best practices and contribute to clinical discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with diverse populations, focusing on adults, children, and adolescents. You will address a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse.
\n
• Trauma from physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss issues.
\n
• Family conflicts and sibling rivalry.
\n
• Adjustment challenges related to divorce and separation.
\n
• Parent-child conflicts, especially mother/daughter dynamics.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n
