This assignment runs from August 19th through the end of October and covers a 12-week maternity leave, focusing on providing essential speech-language services to children in a nurturing environment. The role is expected to be onsite, given the developmental needs of the caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in school settings preferred, particularly early childhood or elementary-aged students
• Thorough understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to organize documentation and maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Conduct thorough assessments and provide data-driven interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in planning and goal-setting for communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate communication supports into classroom routines
• Offer guidance and resources to families and caregivers regarding strategies to support student progress
• Monitor, document, and report student performance and adjust interventions as needed
