An exciting contract opportunity is available for an enthusiastic speech-language pathologist to support young learners at an early childhood center. This assignment covers a 12-week maternity leave, beginning August 19th and extending through the end of October. The focus is on providing essential speech and language services to students in accordance with IEP goals and regulatory standards. Collaboration will be key—work closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to foster communication skills and empower student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with active CCC-SLP certification
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of IEP processes, state, and federal special education requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and engage with young children
• Preference for in-person candidates due to the age and developmental needs of the students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs
• Document student progress, maintain accurate and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies for student success
• Utilize evidence-based practices to tailor interventions for early childhood populations
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to enhance communication skills
