We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Telehealth Coordinator to manage and support virtual healthcare services. The Telehealth Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling telehealth appointments, assisting patients and providers with virtual consultations, troubleshooting basic technical issues, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a seamless telehealth experience while complying with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.

Coordinate and schedule telehealth appointments between patients and healthcare providers.

Guide patients through the telehealth registration and virtual consultation process.

Provide first-level technical support for telehealth platforms and virtual meeting tools.

Verify patient information, insurance details, and appointment eligibility before consultations.

Ensure telehealth sessions are conducted in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare privacy regulations.

Monitor appointment schedules, send reminders, and manage follow-ups.

Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) as required.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and IT teams to resolve scheduling and technical issues.

Educate patients on telehealth services, platform usage, and appointment preparation.

Generate reports on telehealth utilization, appointment completion rates, and operational performance.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to applicable healthcare regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience, depending on organizational requirements).

1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, patient coordination, customer service, medical office operations, or telehealth support.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Basic understanding of healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and patient scheduling.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and healthcare scheduling systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working in hospitals, clinics, or telemedicine organizations.

Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

Knowledge of healthcare privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA or applicable local regulations).

Experience supporting video conferencing platforms used for virtual healthcare.

Certification in healthcare administration, medical office management, or patient coordination is an advantage.

Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
