As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by assisting with de-escalation, directing guests, and maintaining awareness of high-traffic areas during business hours and closing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
