Overview Commonwealth Science & Technology, founded in 2004, is a Boston area recruiting firm specializing in Science, IT and Engineering disciplines. We work with a wide range of technology professionals in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Network Architecture, Engineering, Medical Device, QA/QC, Regulatory, R&D, Biotechnology, and more. We support direct hire, contract, and corp-to-corp workforce needs. Position (Sr.) Business Development Executive – focused on developing new business specifically in the IT and Engineering spaces. Requires extensive phone work including cold calling, emails, social media, lead generation, networking, etc. Occasional support of recruiting activities for existing clients may be required. Requires a “Jack of All Trades” mentality with an ability to shift gears quickly. Responsibilities Develop new business in IT and Engineering spaces through cold calling, email outreach, social media, lead generation, and networking. Manage and prioritize leads, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. Occasionally support recruiting activities for existing clients as needed. Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to prospects and clients. Qualifications Direct experience working in the agency staffing space, specifically in IT and/or Engineering disciplines. Previous experience working with DOD contractors is a plus. Proven track record in client development and profitability. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Highly confident, outgoing, strong sense of urgency, and disciplined work ethic. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
