Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Medical Response in Delray Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership or appropriate responders. Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 21+ years of age for role. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
