Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Tech

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Warren, MI. This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, engaging in diverse activities such as prescription filling, IV preparation, and inventory management within a structured, supportive pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include:

Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
Entering data into the computer system to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payment
Prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
Assisting the Pharmacist in the final checking of filled prescriptions
Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medication to the customer
Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician include:

Relevant certifications as a Pharmacy Technician
Experience in pharmacy operations and prescription handling
