Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMHC at Harford Therapeutic & Anxiety Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing and maintaining rapport and ensuring professional ethics and boundary adherence.

• Conducting regular sessions to discuss client progress, stability, and planning for future appointments or appropriate discharge.
\n
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries to track client journeys.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to gather relevant background and therapeutic needs.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions, focusing on diverse therapeutic modalities based on client preferences and clinical goals.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to refine clinical skills and adhere to best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety disorders to more complex psychiatric conditions. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with diverse clients, including both adult and adolescent populations. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
