Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based counseling services utilizing theories and techniques that address mental health, psychological issues, and human development for adults, families, and groups.

• Provide comprehensive psycho-education to clients regarding mental health challenges, emotional disorders, and behavioral health strategies.

• Engage in collaborative case management through participation in staffing meetings, case conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions, both with and without client involvement.

• Assess clients’ needs and challenges related to human development, career progression, and interpersonal relationships, effectively managing symptoms associated with mental health disorders.

• Develop, monitor, and maintain follow-up care plans, ensuring the provision of appropriate outreach services.

• Document thorough clinical records accurately, detailing assessments, treatment progress, and any care coordination performed in compliance with organizational standards.

• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, adapting strategies based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients who present with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Many of our clients may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma history, or significant life transitions. You will be instrumental in creating a safe therapeutic environment, facilitating healing and growth while empowering clients to develop coping strategies and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, full, and unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in mental health counseling, demonstrating a track record of effective client interventions.

• A Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or other related fields from an accredited university.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Growing Health Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 101,000, commensurate with experience and productivity.
