Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be remote, allowing you the flexibility to support your clients from any location. While your primary work environment may be your home office, you will have the opportunity to occasionally engage with clients in our outpatient office setting when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to establish a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique history and circumstances.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' specific needs, leveraging evidence-based modalities tailored to their goals.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families using both in-person and teletherapy methods, ensuring an engaging and supportive environment.

• Document client sessions with precision and detail, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers and community resources, integrating diverse approaches to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in marriage and family therapy to continually enrich your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are diverse, encompassing individuals and families from various backgrounds seeking assistance with issues such as relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. You will work with clients of different ages, cultures, and experiences, providing you with abundant opportunities to employ culturally sensitive practices and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, proving your capability to manage a diverse client caseload.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration and client engagement.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and utilizing digital tools for therapy delivery.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Experience in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals from marginalized communities will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
