Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while still ensuring high-quality care is maintained. You will be part of a collaborative team that values communication and shares a commitment to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and staff alike. Our work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to address the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, allowing an understanding of each patient’s unique circumstances and developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed specifically for your patients, taking into account not only their mental health challenges but also their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to address various mental health concerns while fostering resilience and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring all treatment efforts are coordinated for optimal patient outcomes.

• Offer timely crisis intervention services to support patients during emergencies, displaying calmness and proficiency in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with health regulations.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions focusing on cultural competency and best practices in therapy, aiding your ongoing professional development and that of the team.

• Stay updated on mental health research and best practices to inform your therapeutic approach, ensuring high-quality care that meets the needs of your diverse patient population.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current professional license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic methods, showcasing a strong commitment to cultural competence in clinical practice.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy with a keen understanding of diverse and inclusive methodologies.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, allowing confident responses to emergencies or challenging situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective relationship-building with diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain effective documentation and case management.

• A professional attitude showcasing ethics, confidentiality, and respect for all clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive yearly salary in the range of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
