R&D / Mfg Scientist III (MSAT Tech Transfer)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an R&D/Manufacturing Scientist III to lead technology transfer and process development for injectable pharmaceutical products. The role involves designing and scaling manufacturing processes, supporting commercial operations, and managing technical projects with minimal supervision in a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate manufacturing studies for injectable product scale-up and technology transfer
- Lead formulation and process development activities from clinical stage through commercial registration
- Prepare technical documentation including protocols, work orders, reports, and process summaries
- Support manufacturing operations as subject matter expert and resolve investigations and CAPAs
- Represent the organization in technical forums and lead client meetings on project proposals and timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related physical science
- 3+ years of confirmed experience in pharmaceutical or CMO product development
- Advanced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and scientific methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong technical writing skills
- Experience with formulation, filling, and freeze-drying processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical client discussions
