Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides support in developing appropriate educational programs for students with speech-language impairments, as mandated by State/Federal regulations. The SLP reports directly to the school principal and special education personnel. Program compliance and quality control are monitored by the special education director and the specialist for Speech-Language Pathology. Responsibilities Develop and implement individual and group speech-language intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide effective instruction. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation. Communicate with parents and provide guidance on speech-language development. Work as part of a team and independently to meet students' needs. Handle classroom management issues calmly. Qualifications Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university. Compliance with USBE state license requirements. Strong oral and written communication skills with students, parents, and staff. Strong computer and educational technology skills. Effective problem solving, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Ability to work as a member of a team and independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
