Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Capital Strategy Analysts .

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors activated through our certification, verification, and approval framework.

Once approved, Capital Strategy Analysts:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Support investors, fund managers, and operators on live capital strategy initiatives

• Gain access to paid analytical work tied directly to active transactions and capital raises

• Build a verified deal and capital execution track record

• Earn and maintain an Analyst Rating Score that determines visibility, approvals, and compensation

Certification tiers:
Senior Capital Strategy Analyst · Lead Capital Strategy Analyst · Capital Strategy Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Capital Strategy Analyst

Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of capital markets, fundraising, or portfolio strategy experience.

Lead Capital Strategy Analyst

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in capital structuring, investor materials, deal execution, or portfolio analytics.

Capital Strategy Analyst / Associate

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial modeling, capital markets, or transaction support capabilities.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Capital Strategy Analysts may be engaged for:

Capital Strategy & Structuring

• Capital stack design (equity, debt, preferred, hybrid structures)

• Return and waterfall modeling

• Capital allocation and deployment analysis

• Scenario and downside protection analysis

• Cost of capital and leverage optimization

Fundraising & Investor Support

• Investor pitch decks and data room analytics

• Fund and deal-level return analysis

• Sensitivity and scenario modeling for investors

• LP reporting and performance summaries

• Capital raise pacing and sizing analysis

Portfolio & Transaction Strategy

• Portfolio construction and exposure analysis

• Asset-level vs portfolio-level return trade-offs

• Hold / sell / recapitalization strategy analysis

• Transaction support and investment committee materials

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and performance quality—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

1. Complete the Capital Strategy Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

2. Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Structuring, Fundraising Support, Portfolio Strategy, Modeling)

3. Get verified on the platform

4. Begin earning immediately through hourly engagements and live capital strategy work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively matched with investors, sponsors, and fund managers.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

• Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Capital Strategy Training

• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Capital Strategy Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score , which determines:

• Platform visibility

• Approved work categories

• Recommended hourly rates

• Eligibility for higher-value engagements

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, compliance, or performance issues

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
