Work Environment\n

This remote role utilizes telehealth platforms to ensure seamless communication and therapy delivery. You will engage with clients using advanced digital tools, giving you the opportunity to help them on their journey to recovery. Our work hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts available on a rotating basis to accommodate our client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, using standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges and recovery goals, while incorporating client feedback and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver targeted interventions that promote healing.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, ensuring they understand treatment options and self-care strategies to manage symptoms effectively.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting the treatment plans based on their evolving needs and response to therapy.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to each client’s mental health care.

• Stay informed of the latest developments in mood disorder research to enhance treatment effectiveness and apply new knowledge in clinical practice.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Actively promote the destigmatization of mental health issues by serving as a client advocate, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our approach is client-centered, ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and receives tailored interventions that directly address their unique circumstances and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is required.

• Strong emphasis on a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies such as CBT and DBT, demonstrating a results-oriented approach to therapy.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 to welcome you to our team.
