We are looking for a  thinker and problem solver who takes ownership, follows through, and gets things done. Join our Follow-Up Team to help move insurance claims efficiently and reduce aging accounts.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Perform insurance follow-up on aging claims
• Review and work accounts receivable to prevent delays
• Access and navigate insurance portals for claim status updates
• Contact insurance carriers to resolve denials, delays, and underpayments
• Submit corrected claims or additional documentation requested as needed
• Document account activity accurately and thoroughly
• Identify trends in denials and report issues proactively

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of medical billing experience (ambulance billing a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through
• Comfortable working with insurance portals and claims
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred but not reqired:

• Ambulance/EMS billing experience
• Medical Billing or Coding Certification
