For over 50 years, B&A Precision has delivered complex, tight‑tolerance parts for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical sectors. We’re expanding our shop team with a skilled CNC professional who thrives on accuracy, collaboration, and on‑time delivery.

A Day in the Life

You start your 1st shift by reviewing the day’s travelers and blueprints. Depending on the job mix, you’ll run either a 2–3 axis CNC horizontal lathe or a 3–5 axis milling machine. You verify tooling, zero offsets, and program calls on Fanuc controls, making minor G‑code edits as needed. Throughout the day, you check critical features using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other precision instruments, documenting results so every part meets print.

You coordinate with the shop supervisor and fellow operators to keep work flowing, hand off in‑process parts, and ensure that each component is produced to spec and delivered on schedule. Your attention to detail, basic blueprint fluency, and working knowledge of GD&T (nice to have) underpin everything you do.

What You’ll Work On

• Operate either 2–3 axis CNC horizontal lathes or 3–5 axis CNC milling machines (applicants considered if you bring strength in either area).
• Navigate Fanuc controls; read and make light edits to G‑code.
• Interpret blueprints; apply GD&T concepts where applicable.
• Measure and verify dimensions using a range of precision gages and instruments.
• Collaborate in a team‑based environment to hit quality and delivery targets.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of hands‑on CNC experience.
• Basic blueprint reading; working knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and G‑code.
• Strong accuracy, precision, and detail orientation.
• A collaborative mindset and reliability on a production floor.
