Role Description As a Security Officer - Overnights - Access Control in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the facility. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, access issues, and/or maintenance concerns that could affect daily operations. Support shipping, receiving, and vendor access activity by checking arrivals, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding deliveries, pickups, and/or visitor processing. Minimum Requirements Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
