Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' therapeutic needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Facilitate group sessions and workshops, promoting peer support and communal healing among participants.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while employing electronic medical record (EMR) software.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Access ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in counseling is essential.
