Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to creating essential concrete piping and manholes used in urban infrastructure. The role demands proficiency in reading tape measures and understanding basic blueprints. Experience in concrete or construction is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret tape measures and basic blueprints accurately.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Assemble rebar to fit molds for concrete pipes.
• Use hand and power tools with precision and care.
• Drag and move finished parts to the finishing area.
• Utilize hand sanders to finish dried concrete.
• Adapt to different project requirements and understand build-outs from prints.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction or concrete work.
• Mechanical assembly skills.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and tape measures.
• Basic understanding of masonry and sheet metal work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months to a year of manufacturing, concrete, or construction experience.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to assist around the facility.

Work Environment

Work in a dusty and dirty manufacturing facility. The role is based on the 1st shift, starting at 5am or 6am, working 8-10 hour days from Monday to Friday, ensuring a great work-life balance with no weekend work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
