Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing client needs through individual and couples therapy sessions. Your role will involve:

• Conducting thorough assessments and treatment planning for a variety of family dynamics.
\n
• Meeting with couples to address relationship challenges and also providing individual therapy to help clients explore personal issues.
\n
• Treating complex cases including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, conflict resolution, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy sessions aimed at improving relationships among family members and helping them navigate transitions such as divorce or separation.
\n
• Documenting treatment progress and making adjustments to care plans as necessary, ensuring client confidentiality and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss case management and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families coming from various backgrounds in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and beyond. Your expertise will be pivotal in assisting clients to tackle specific challenges such as:

\n
• Adjustment issues after separation or divorce.
\n
• Challenges faced by blended families and concerns regarding remarriage.

• Managing the emotional impacts of job-related stress and medical issues.

• Addressing mother/daughter conflicts and fostering healthy communication.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Proven commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients.

Preferred Experience\n
