Job Description

The Medical Billing and Surgical Scheduling role is a self-managed position focusing on outpatient surgical cases. This role involves managing various administrative tasks such as billing, scheduling surgeries, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient records to ensure efficient workflow and compliance within a medical setting.

Responsibilities

Handle medical billing and claims submission
Schedule and coordinate surgical appointments
Verify patient insurance coverage accurately
Register patients and manage appointment logistics
Post payments and maintain records meticulously
Communicate with patients and healthcare providers effectively
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Perform accurate data entry to support billing and scheduling processes

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with medical billing software
Experience with insurance verification
Strong data entry skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication abilities
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
