The role:
Contract Enforcement Operations Assistants are vital to the day-to-day operations of the union. They assist and manage all of the behind the scenes work for the department they are assigned to: maintaining databases, and running reports, to name a few responsibilities. The main areas of responsibility for this position, include, but are not limited to:

• Receptionist duties;
• Managing data entry;
• Completing administrative tasks, including printing and scanning documents;
• Assisting with scheduling meetings and calendar maintenance;
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in complex databases;
• Assisting with the daily operations of the union;
• Managing multiple projects from planning to completion;
• Developing database reports and tools for analysis, analyzing the data, and providing executive and managerial staff with reliable recommendations;
• Training staff on how to use technology and troubleshooting problems;
• Helping to create and implement staff policies and procedures;
• Drafting plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work procedures;
• Becoming expert on union contracts and the hotel industry.

• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing;
• Ability to handle physically and mentally demanding assignments;

Salary: 
$29.21 per hour
