This dynamic position involves serving a K-12 student population with diverse needs, allowing you to make a measurable difference across three buildings near University Park, PA.

Your weekly hours will be spread across 35 hours, managing a balanced caseload of 55 thirty-minute therapy sessions, which include 16 individual and 37 group treatments. The role prioritizes collaboration and flexibility, with potential options for virtual service delivery if a qualified SLPA is on board to assist. Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
• Previous school-based experience preferred; familiarity with serving mixed K-12 populations is highly valued
• Flexibility to split duties across elementary, middle, and high school buildings
• Adaptable to both in-person and virtual therapy models (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy services
• Conduct individual and group sessions with students, addressing a variety of communication needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to craft individualized plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
