Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting a diverse, vibrant educational community. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with a telepractice SLP, sharing a dynamic caseload and making a positive impact across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

You’ll have the chance to build strong rapport with students while delivering speech and language services in three buildings within one district. The mixed student population allows for growth and experience across a wide range of ages and communication challenges, with a total caseload of approximately 41 students (subject to change). The role involves delivering 55 half-hour treatments weekly, with a blend of 16 individual and 37 group sessions, totaling 35 hours per week.

Your partnership with a Tele SLP ensures mentorship and support, while also fostering a collaborative, team-based approach to student care. Please note that, due to policy, the district will continuously post this position internally and provide notice if transitioning to a direct hire becomes necessary.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• SLPA license or certification, in accordance with state requirements
• Previous experience in a school setting appreciated
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage a varied caseload
• Comfortable collaborating with digital therapy platforms and professional teams
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to serving students of all backgrounds

Responsibilities:

• Carry out treatment plans designed by supervising SLP
• Document progress and manage student records efficiently
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the supervising Tele SLP
