Service Advisor

Know cars? Good with people? Help keep our service department moving. Skyline Ford is looking for someone with a mechanical background, strong customer service skills, and the drive to learn. This is a hands-on opportunity to join a Ford dealership and play an important role on an experienced service team. What you’ll do: Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and help customers with service questions. Assist with dispatching work to technicians and coordinating shop workflow. Support advisors with repair orders, customer updates, and follow-through. Handle overflow customers during the week. Serve as the Saturday advisor, managing customer check-in, repair recommendations, and vehicle delivery. What we’re looking for: Previous automotive industry experience—whether as a service advisor, service writer, scheduler, independent shop assistant, or in another automotive service role. A mechanical background and a practical understanding of automotive repairs and maintenance. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional phone presence. Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Initiative, dependable follow-through, and a strong desire to learn. Availability to work Saturdays. Automotive industry experience is required. Dealership and service advisor experience are preferred but not required. Familiarity with CDK and Xtime is a strong plus. Compensation: Pay depends on experience (DOE).
