Business Office Manager

Business Office Manager – Responsibilities Prepare and submit necessary documentation for resident move‑ins, move‑outs, transfers and ancillary charges. Oversee cash controls, including depositing and posting of cash receipts and implementing and monitoring controls over petty cash. Maintain daily cashbooks for operational accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations; monitor accounts payable processing. Ensure department managers complete appropriate assignment of departmental expenses and supporting documentation. Coordinate the processing of payroll and employee benefits; manage payment of insurance, real estate taxes and related reporting requirements. Prepare and enter journal entries; maintain sub‑schedules for Balance Sheet accounts. Review and distribute monthly financial statements. Prepare management reports as requested. Maintain team member, resident, vendor and financial accounting files in accordance with established policies and requirements. Interface with residents on billing/collection issues. Oversee preparation and maintenance of resident files, records and reports. Manage community Human Resource functions, ensuring a positive first impression and following the established new hire orientation program. Oversee payroll and team member paperwork including new hire and change forms. Manage open positions using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and job postings; schedule Concierge team members. Create and oversee Health Center resident/ patient private accounts and prepare necessary reports to adhere to State, Local and Federal guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting with one year of experience as an Accountant. Associate’s degree in Accounting with two to three years of related experience.
