Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance, while still enabling participation in supportive team dynamics through regular virtual meetings and consultations. Although the position does not require physical presence at our Lynn facility, therapists may occasionally provide in-person services as needed based on patient circumstances. Our remote operations make it easier for therapists to manage their schedules while providing accessible care to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, incorporating both clinical screenings and personal interviews.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to deliver effective interventions tailored to each client.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans with clear goals, continuously updating them based on each client's progress and feedback.
\n
• Facilitate educational workshops and support groups for clients, encouraging peer relationships and shared learning to nurture community involvement.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers in a multidisciplinary approach to provide holistic care while ensuring seamless communication and shared goals among team members.

• Support patients in crisis by offering immediate intervention services and developing safety plans as needed.
\n
• Educate clients about their mental health disorders and treatment options, while also connecting them with vital community resources that may enhance their recovery.

• Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to foster a culture of learning and improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven track record in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a wide-ranging clientele.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a collaborative working environment.

• Sound judgment and the ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethics at all times.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology used in mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in outpatient settings and those who hold certifications or specialized training in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
