This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring interventions to each client’s specific circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in mental health treatment to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities which fortify skill enhancement.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including those suffering from severe anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele is diverse, comprising various demographic backgrounds, including refugees, homeless individuals, and domestic abuse survivors. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
