This position will primarily be remote, offering the flexibility to manage your schedule while working from the comfort of your home. Although remote, you will be a key member of our outpatient office team, participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to ensure consistent quality of care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor client progression, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on observed changes and feedback.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Remain informed about current research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance your practice.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical regulations.

• Participate in team discussions, case consultations, and additional training to foster a culture of learning and professional development.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues, thereby reducing stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with primarily face mood disorders that impact their daily lives, relationships, and overall well-being. This includes individuals dealing with depressive episodes, bipolar tendencies, and anxiety disorders. Additionally, your role may involve providing therapy to vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, making your contribution to their lives particularly significant.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
