Role Description The Medical Assistant role at VIPcare is a full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, FL. The Medical Assistant will support clinicians by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and assisting with routine clinical procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing patient flow, updating electronic medical records, coordinating referrals, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The role also involves communicating with patients, answering questions, providing education on preventive care, and reinforcing VIPcare’s commitment to a compassionate, high-quality experience. The Medical Assistant collaborates closely with the care team to support efficient operations and promote better health outcomes for patients. Qualifications Strong Medical Assisting skills, including supporting clinical procedures and preparing patients for examinations. Knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately document and communicate patient information. Experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and basic administrative tasks. Demonstrated Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, safety, and clear communication. Ability to manage and maintain Medical Records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training; certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.
