Position Overview Operates equipment in the production of radiographic images in accordance with department protocols. Administers radiopaque material for enhanced examinations under the supervision of a radiologist. Promotes a safe environment by using protective devices and practices. The technologist must be attentive to patient needs during examinations and take appropriate action if necessary. Independent problem solving in the performance of duties with limited supervision. Specifics Position: Radiology Technologist Department: Radiology Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center, 2100 Madison Ave. Granite City, IL 62040 Position Status: Full‑time Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Education and Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved radiological technologist program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification Licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Previous experience preferred; new graduates welcome Company Benefits Competitive salary and performance‑based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Retirement savings plan with employer matching Vacation time and holiday pay Shift differentials Supportive and inclusive work environment Pay Range $25.71 – $38.56 per hour Disclaimer: Pay is determined based on various factors, including education level, years of experience, relevant certifications, and specific skills related to the position.
