In this team, HR Advisors are responsible for cases assigned through ServiceNow (case management system) related to ADA, LOAs, FMLA, and accessibility. This role requires considerable tact, strong communication skills, and the ability to help manage risk.

\n

This work is time-sensitive, and a successful individual will be organized and able to manage timelines. Cases are sensitive in nature, and we want a trusted advisor who can provide consultation and guidance on accommodation issues and solutions while promoting a positive workplace culture.

\n

The role requires the ability to analyze, research, and develop resolution proposals.

\n

Note: The Contractors will be solely focused on managing ADA accommodation requests where the accommodation being sought is remote work.

\n

Hybrid

\n

The role is hybrid in posted locations. Team members in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

\n

\n
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related degree, or equivalent work experience
\n
• Three to five years of experience in employee relations, HR Generalist, or associated HR position, disability management, or equivalent experience
\n

Preferred Skills/Experience

\n

\n
• Previous experience working in HR Operations or HR Service Center preferred
\n
• Experience with federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA, LOAs, Employee Relations, Employment Law, and Disability case work is desired
\n
• Ability to work independently and identify when to engage others
\n
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
\n
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
\n
• Proven ability to maintain confidential information
\n
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications
\n
• Knowledge of accommodation solutions as they pertain to disability-related barriers
