Account Executive - Federal Health

Account Executive – Appian Appian is a leading provider of process automation technology, helping large enterprises and governments streamline complex processes. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, driving digital transformation by selling our Appian solutions. Responsibilities Navigate complex accounts and lead the entire sales cycle (approximately 6‑12 months) from prospecting to close. Develop and execute top‑of‑funnel activities, including in‑person and virtual presentations to LOB and IT audiences. Identify and engage multiple stakeholders across the customer and partner ecosystems, leveraging internal resources and the customer success team. Perform client discovery, communicate ROI, and build business value to position Appian against competitors. Maintain a trusted advisor relationship with customers and colleagues throughout complex deals. Qualifications 5–10+ years of direct selling experience, including a minimum of 2 years as an Enterprise Account Executive selling complex technologies to federal health agencies. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience navigating a multi‑stage sales cycle, leveraging cross‑functional internal and external resources. Platform sales experience with strong presentation skills. Demonstrated history of consistent quota achievement and new customer logo acquisition.
