Nurse - Youth Population

Requirements
- Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York State
- Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure nursing experience
- Valid New York State nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing interventions and medication administration consistent with regulatory standards.
- Participate in the facility medical treatment team to support comprehensive treatment plans.
- Administer medications, including controlled substances, and review/develop nursing intervention plans.
- Implement infection control practices and ensure proper clinical and administrative documentation and reporting.
- Engage in team-based work with interdisciplinary medical staff.
- Conduct staff training as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
- Valid state license is required - no exceptions.
- Returning staff must be away from any facility in the state for 2 years to return.
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be presented at the time of submittal.
- Accepts first-time travelers and local travelers at the same rate.
