Kitchen Manager

Job Description Job Description Award winning family owned tavern is looking to hire a full time Kitchen Manager to lead a small team in delivering exceptional traditional American cuisine. The ideal candidate will manage all kitchen operations manually and maintain close coordination with front-of-house staff and suppliers to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a kitchen team of under 10 staff members Manage inventory and order supplies directly from vendors Plan menus reflecting traditional American cuisine Ensure food safety compliance and maintain kitchen cleanliness Monitor quality control and consistency of all dishes Create and manage staff schedules to optimize coverage Control costs through careful budget and waste management Train and develop kitchen staff performance and skills Coordinate regularly with front-of-house personnel Oversee kitchen maintenance and equipment upkeep Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen management Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Company Description We are a family run tavern that serves the surrounding communities with homemade food.
