Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 (Base) + Performance Bonus

Position Type: Full-Time

The Concept Set to debut in the heart of Hudson Yards this summer, our brand-new luxury hotel is launching a flagship 130-seat, high-energy, trendy Italian restaurant. Think the timeless, cinematic swagger of Carbone, the exclusive, soul-satisfying heritage of Rao's, and the modern, razor-sharp execution of Quality Italian. This isn't just a hotel restaurant—it’s a culinary destination designed for NYC’s elite, neighborhood tastemakers, and global travelers. We are pairing a high-octane, glamorous front-of-house vibe with an uncompromising, chef-driven kitchen.

The Role

We are seeking a visionary, high-profile Executive Chef to anchor this opening. You will have full creative and operational custody of the kitchen, shaping the culinary identity of Hudson Yards' next major hotspot.

Key Responsibilities Culinary Vision & Execution: Menu engineering, recipe development, and flawless execution of a high-end, trendy Italian menu.

Kitchen Operations: Total oversight of back-of-house operations, ensuring peak efficiency, pristine sanitation, and strict food cost management.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a world-class culinary brigade capable of handling a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

Hotel Synergy: Collaborate with hotel leadership to streamline room service/amenity programs without compromising the core restaurant brand.

Candidate Requirements

Pedigree: Must have a proven track record as an Executive Chef or high-level Chef de Cuisine at a premium, high-profile NYC Italian institution (e.g., Carbone, Quality Italian, Rao's, Marea, Locanda Verde).

Skills: Expert-level mastery of both classic and contemporary Italian culinary techniques (including advanced pasta-making and premium meat programs).

Acumen: Strong financial literacy (P&L, labor mapping, food cost controls) paired with exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Opening Experience: Prior experience with a hotel or restaurant launch is highly preferred.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary of $120,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience).
