Business Development Manager (Flexible Packaging)

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join an innovative business with a strong reputation across industrial and packaging markets. The Role You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities across your assigned territory. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you will deliver commercially and technically effective packaging solutions that drive long-term customer partnerships and profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts. Develop new business opportunities within targeted markets. Achieve sales and margin objectives through strategic account management. Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and maintain accurate sales forecasts. Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities. Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events. About You The successful candidate will have: Around 5-7 years' B2B sales or account management experience within flexible packaging, technical films or a related manufacturing sector. A proven track record of growing customer relationships and winning new business. Strong commercial, communication and negotiation skills. An understanding of film extrusion, converting or related packaging processes is advantageous. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
