Transportation Specialist (Vacancy CL-23-27) Location: DeArmond Center, 1325 Celeste Drive, Modesto, CA. Program: SELPA. Employment Type: Full Time. Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Stanislaus SELPA Director, coordinate SELPA student transportation services between districts, SELPA, and the contracted transportation service provider. Maintain confidential record-keeping related to transportation and student information. Responsibilities Coordinate SELPA student transportation services between districts, SELPA, and the contracted transportation service provider. Maintain confidential record-keeping related to transportation and student information. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Graduation from high school and at least three years of experience in transportation services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary & Work Schedule Salary range: $25.91 - $32.25 per hour. Note: Initial placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 3 ($28.98/hr) for external applicants. Work year: 247 work days / 261 paid days per year. Hours: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
