Hiring rate: $20.47-$22.74/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

Hours & days of work: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week

Location of position: Elkhart County Judicial Building

Travel requirements: None

Job summary: Responsible for processing and recording data, answering telephone, greeting clients, locating case file information, and performing various other clerical duties.

Job requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent; eighteen months of clerical training preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Elkhart County and a registered voter
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
• Bilingual a plus
• Pre-employment background check
