Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Supervisor I, Emergency Services Manager, the Emergency Services Analyst coordinates and collaborates with the California Conservation Corps (CCC) centers and any emergency response agencies to provide emergency response services throughout the State and will act as primary support for designated CCC Centers and Satellites. The analyst acts as CCC’s emergency response Duty Officer and is subject to 24-hour call back in the event of an emergency. While serving as Duty Officer, the analyst is expected to monitor a mobile phone and respond to electronic mail and phone calls 24/7, including holidays. The analyst may be required to travel and work mandatory overtime in an emergency situation. This will require irregular working hours, working at locations other than the official duty station and may include duties other than those specified in the duty statement. The ability to perform in stressful situations with tact and professionalism, good organizational skills and strong effective and professional communication skills.

Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for telework.
Beginning July 1st, all employees are required to report in-office at least 4-days a week. All employees who telework are required to be California residents in accordance with Government Code 14200. Candidates who reside outside of the state of California may be interviewed; however, the selected candidate must have a primary residency in the state of California prior to appointment (and continue to maintain California residency) as a condition of employment. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the job offer being rescinded. See additional note regarding CCC HQ specific telework/return to office (RTO) logistics.
- You may be occasionally required to work from the CCC Sacramento Center location (570 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, CA) or other locations, based on business need (printing, mailing, meetings, emergency response, etc.).
- Once HQ renovations are complete, you will be notified and the in-office reporting location will revert to HQ (anticipated return is mid- to late September) and this position will revert to a “Hybrid” schedule of up to one day of telework per week, with a minimum of four days of in-office work.

- Excellent attendance, dependability, and reliability.
- Experience with budget trackin g.
- Knowledge of the FEMA grants process and Grants Portal.
- Knowledge of the State Emergency Management System (SEMS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), and/or Incident Command System (ICS).
