Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services and conduct speech-language evaluations for students.
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member.
• Provide specialized interventions and support for students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, especially within separate school settings for students with complex needs.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s communication and academic success.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings, specifically with K–5 elementary (Hasty Elementary) or K–12 students with disabilities (Stoner Thomas), is highly desired.
• Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and delivering individualized therapy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
