We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support core financial operations for a Contract position based in Provo, Utah. This role will focus on maintaining accurate transaction records, supporting billing activity, and helping keep payables and receivables current. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure accounts payable transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
• Monitor incoming customer payments and maintain organized accounts receivable records to support cash flow tracking.
• Prepare and issue billing documents while resolving routine invoice questions or discrepancies.
• Reconcile account balances and investigate variances to help maintain accurate financial data.
• Enter invoice details and other accounting information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Apply and track credit card payments, ensuring proper documentation and posting of transactions.
• Support general accounting activities by organizing financial records and assisting with daily transactional workflows.• Experience supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes in a detail-focused setting.
• Working knowledge of billing procedures, invoice entry, and payment posting.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with core accounting functions and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Proficiency using accounting software and standard business applications such as spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external contacts.
